The associated technical drawings of the retrofit-kits are provided under license, allowing customers to utilize this information in a controlled and efficient manner within their own manufacturing processes.

 

What's Included

  • Mounting recommendations tailored to industrial applications

  • Design documentation has been prepared in line with recommended guidelines for the integration of newly selected circuit breakers.

 

Terms of License

Permitted Use:

  • Internal production and processing within your own organization

  • Use by your designated suppliers

Prohibited Use:

  • Resale of drawings or documentation

  • Modification without prior consultation

  • Distribution beyond the agreed licensing scope

Confidentiality

All provided drawings, models, BOM structures, and technical documents are considered confidential business information of LV Retrofit. The client is required to protect this information from access by third parties and may only share it with parties directly involved in the execution of the specific project. Any unauthorized distribution, copying, or disclosure is considered a violation of these terms.

Document Identification

LV Retrofit may include unique identification codes, watermarks, or metadata within drawings and documentation to verify origin and licensing scope. These identifiers allow LV Retrofit to determine to which client a document was originally supplied. Removing, altering, or obscuring this identification is strictly prohibited and constitutes a breach of the licensing terms.

 

At LV Retrofit, quality is at the core of everything we do. Our workflow is built around clear processes, careful document management, and consistent quality control. We follow defined steps for design, revision management, production, and delivery to ensure every retrofit kit is consistent, safe, and reliable.

We apply:

  • registration of deviations and improvement actions

This approach ensures that customers can always rely on a neat, transparent, and professional execution of every project.

LV Retrofit designs retrofit kits with great care and precision.
To ensure clarity for all parties, the following terms apply.

The retrofit kits are developed based on the technical information provided by the client. The client is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of this data.

LV Retrofit accepts no liability for damages or installation issues resulting from:

  • Incomplete or incorrect input

  • Improper assembly or application

  • Failure to verify dimensions and connection positions in advance

The use of the provided information and components is entirely at the user's own risk. We strongly recommend verifying all designs prior to disassembly or installation.

 

Liability Limitation

To ensure clarity and manage risks for both parties, the following limitations apply to all engineering work, documentation, and retrofit‑kit deliveries by LV Retrofit:

  • LV Retrofit’s liability is limited to the invoiced amount of the specific assignment, with a maximum of €1,000,000 per claim and €2,000,000 per year.

  • Only direct damages are eligible for compensation.

  • Indirect or consequential damages — including downtime, loss of production, delays at the end‑customer, loss of profits, or third‑party claims — are expressly excluded.

  • LV Retrofit is not liable for any damage arising from installation, mounting, alignment, torque application, or use of the retrofit kit by third parties, including deviations from recommended assembly procedures.

  • Damages that would normally fall under a CAR (Construction All Risk) insurance are excluded.

  • Liability expires 5 years after delivery of the assignment.

  • The client is responsible for verifying all measurements, geometries, and connection positions before any disassembly or installation takes place.

These terms form an integral part of all quotations, deliveries, and agreements issued by LV Retrofit.
